Zeit-Slice, a window on Germany, instantly connects us to three sites in Berlin. By controlling the touchscreens through the window surface, the spectator can access a 360° panorama that takes them 6,000 km away from their sidewalk. The image is set in motion, displaying 24h in the life of a city both distant and near. Is day-to-day life so different in Europe? What relationships do Berliners have with their shared spaces? A new kind of interactive device for bringing city-dwellers together.
Zeit-Slice is presented by the Goethe-Institut and the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership in collaboration with “Germany@Canada 2017 - Partners from Immigration to Innovation”.
